Rob showing off his pot of gold!

« Reply #451 on: November 24, 2008, 10:04:59 AM »

1.79 here, woohooo!  However, the State of Massachusetts is in debt for billions of dollars, due to our wonderful Big Dig Project.  One of the proposals to help pay for this massive, unecessary screw up is adding 11 cents a gallon to the gas tax.  Lovely.  I love when States and Corporations screw up and it's the little people who have to pay for it.   :Kit n Stik;

Last night, we went to South Carolina to see my nephew's basketball game.  We had a half a tank of gas but saw a station with $1.54 for regular unleaded -- filled up.  Here at home (NC), it's still around $1.82.

Gas and fuel prices have really taken a nose dive here.  Gas is down to a little over $0.80 a liter and diesel ( which we use in our truck) is down from a little over $1.60 a liter to about $1.00 a liter.  :2thumbsup;
