May18/07 Bilirubin results                              1.8                           Range   0.2-1.2

What are some possible causes?  Any inputs would be greatly appreciate it.  I was discovered to have Hep. B during dialysis.  Could it be because of Hep. B and the immune drugs cause it.

It may, st789.  I am hep c pos. I was 4.5 years post transplant when I turned up jaundice. My bilirubin was 1.2 and I itched head to toe. Oatmeal baths help a little.  At that time I was on cyclo/imuran/prednisone regimen.  My doctors decided to take me off Imuran, and in a few weeks my bilirubin returned to normal.  I think maybe your doctors should look into the toxicity of your all your meds. I think your liver is getting bombarded.  Just my :twocents;         :usaflag;  peace, frankieb

E, Frankieb do you also had kidney transplant like I am.

To be quite honest, the liver gave me a harder time than my kidney when I was on dialysis.
