I was on Fresenius cycler for 9 yrs then suddenly I've been switched to Baxter. I first found it very noisey, and made a few posts to ask for suggestions on how to quiet it down. Some nights it's noisier than others but now I sleep through most of it. It was suggested to me to put a towel underneath the cycler to help deaden the noise, as there's a little vent at the bottom. As long as the vent isn't occluded by the towel then all's fine. Good luck!!
I have posted this little tip before but maybe you've not seen it. There is a way to make the cycler completely silent during dwell time. If you are still awake after the first fill and fluid extraction from the next bag. Press the RED button so that the machine goes in pause mode. After a few seconds the machine will become silent. Then press the GREEN button to switch it back on. It will start up again but the sound from it will only last a few seconds and then hey presto! it becomes completely silent for the duration of that dwell without affecting the timer or the heater. You have to do it for each dwell but if you're already asleep by the next dwell then it doesn't matter. It was someone on this sight who gave me this info I can't remember who, but that person deserves a medal cos since then I've had decent nights sleep.
