having a colonoscopy while on dialysis

I am getting ready to start in-center dialysis shortly (after I get a AV Graft). About 8 months later (because of scheduling) I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy due to a bout of diverticulitis. I am concerned about 1) the prep used called SurPrep and 2) the LARGE volume of liquid I will be required to drink to prepare for the procedure.
Has anyone had a colonoscopy while on dialysis and if so what precautions were followed and what prep procedure/meds were used?
I am 75 years old and had a colonoscopy about 3 years ago that showed minor diverticuli. I have had one bought of diverticulitis that caused hospitalization for IV antibiotics and liquid diet. No epeisodes since

I had the rectal probe while I was a dialysis patient, but not while on dialysis. The clinic chairs are not set up for the rectal probing. The only "extra" thing you need to do it contact your nephrologist and get his/her/its/their approval for the particular prep being described.
As to the fluid - there are lower volume preps, but prep fluid runs though the bowels like Patton through Europe.
