Well... it’s been a very long time since I visited this page.
I received a living donor transplant in 2010, but have lost so much kidney function now, that it looks like dialysis may be in my near future.  I hated dialysis before, (2007-2010), and I’ll probably hate it again.  At least this time, I’ve been through this once already, and can maybe work on finding a living kidney donor sooner than later.  I hope I can post here when I feel like I need support.  It’s tough having such severe health problems.  When people are allowed to travel again, my housemate can get away from me because he’s tired of my limitations.  But I can’t get away from me.  If only I could get away from my health problems and limitations.
Anyway, Happy New Year, and I’ll check back regularly.
Stay safe!

Of course you can post here whenever you feel you need support!  That's why we're here.

I am so sorry your transplant is getting weary and very much hope that you can get back on the wait list asap if you have not already done so.  How are you feeling on a day to day basis?  Do you still feel fairly well, enough to get through your day without too much trouble?  You've talked about "limitations"; which sort of limitations are you experiencing?

You are so right...it is very hard to live with such a chronic disease as this.

Happy New Year to you, too, and yes, please do check back regularly!
