Hemoglobin finally hit 12.0 today (tomorrow is my 5-month anniversary). Creatinine was .97. Also, no more sodium bicarb tablets. My Co2 levels are perfect without them. They put me back on Valcyte after my WBC went back to normal, but now WBC is tanking again. They will probably have me discontinue it again. I was only supposed to take it for another month, so I am not too worried about going off of it. I have lots of energy and am keeping up with my tax season work and maintaining my pool exercise routine. Not bad for 5 months out.

That's fantastic news!  Gosh, my creatinine has never been that low, so good on you!  The most important thing is that you feel well and that you have the energy to "keep up" with life.

My heartiest congrats to you!
