Hi all,

Want to give an update on my labs. So at the moment I am getting plasmapheresis treatments once a week (every monday) we did a trial run and skipped one treatment to see how things would go. The protein levels in my urine went up, there was traces of red and white blood cells so as you can see missing just one treatment made a huge difference... this also explains the very puffy eyes i had the other week as I mentioned in another post. When you are losing protein the body tends to replace it with fluid.  We are back to once a week for plasma treatments and if things get worse theyll just increase it to 2 times a week.
The doctor also told me he wanted to start me on rituximab. He says it will help the kidney in the long run. Anyone on this medication?

I don't know anything about that med.

But, I am glad you got some answers.  Keep us posted!
