Hey. So after multiple trips to philly and the Bronx I am now officially listed on the tx list at two other tx centers besides my primary one. Yah! Finally a little good news.

And it will be a year on the list at my primary tx center next month.  on one hand time has flown by and on the other it is crawling slowly as can be.
So now I wait.  I’m gratdul I am eligible for a second tx.  It will be 30 years in July with my first kidney and it’s still plugging along.
Take care.

Congratulations! So happy for you!

It is pretty rad that your current tx is plugging along 30 years later too. :) Off to have a drink for you!

Congrats on the good news! Thanks for sharing it. Hope you get "the call" real soon and that the next kidney also runs for 30 years. That's really something!

He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
