Are there any here??

My class is planning some kind of trip to Europe (we haven't decided on exactly what yet).  I'm having a lot of trouble finding dialysis services on cruise ships (Dialysis at Sea gave me the bum's rush when I talked to them), but if a land trip is chosen, I've no idea on how to go about finding dialysis while I'm there.  Is there a government agency that I need to contact?  Maybe a private company?  Maybe there's a travel agency that could help me out?  I found Eurodial, and emailed them, but never got a response.  I'm worried that since they are French, perhaps they don't speak English and jus deleted my email.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated, because if I can't figure this out, I can't go on the trip with my classmates

You will not only pay top $$ for the dialysis, but will be cut off from all cruise "deals" as you have to buy your cruise through dialysis@sea at rack rate.

That wasn't the issue.  I knew I'd have to pay for it.  Their website didn't have any European cruises in our time frame, and when I emailed to ask for advice, they pretty much said they couldn't help me.

Hi Riki most English D patients use Freedom, I hope this link works.

I would think they organise for D patients from all over the world. The last time I used them their service was £50,-

I'll take a look.  It doesn't look like I'm going on the study tour.  It looks like it will be too hard to do.  From what I understand, there are only 7 of the 15 actually going, so we'd be a rather small group.  I've decided instead that I'm going to take the money that I would have used for that trip, and meet up with my best friend in Philadelphia in July

I would like to go to Europe at some point.  Maybe someday I'll have the money to go on my own.  I'd love to Greece or Italy.  I have a fantasy of somehow finding myself rich beyond my wildest dreams, and buying my own Greek island

While you're there, consider a visit to the Mutter Museum.

Sorry your school trip didn't work out, but you should be able to have a great (or better) time in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is one of the best destinations for US history and is strong on art.  They have lots of public art since there are state or city laws saying something like 1% of construction costs on new projects need to be spent on pubic art.  Its also one of the more affordable cities on the east coast for housing - I think that translates a bit into the dinning and entertainment area so the local chefs (and mixologists) can be a bit more creative in their product rater than focusing on how to pay for the multimillion dollar build out that you see in DC/NYC etc...

I'm looking forward to it.  I know that the city is full of historic value, and I've always been fascinated with history and historic figures.  Plus, I'm told that you can eat your way through Reading Market, so I want to give that a shot too. *LOL*

My best friend and I will be covering the Netroots Nation conference for the radio station we volunteer for.  She goes every year, but I've only gone once, when it was in Atlanta 2 years ago.  Last year, it was in New Orleans, and I was incredibly jealous
