You know how, as soon as you put the washing out to dry, it starts to rain? Well beat this!

In England (and most of Europe) we are in the middle of a drought. Hot (very hot) sunny days, and no rain for weeks. You may have read about the wildfires in Greece, we have had the same thing, but fortunately not in highly populated areas, so they may have not hit international news. So in the middle of this very hot, very dry weather I did some washing and put it on the line this morning. Then came in and started listening to news radio while making a cup of tea. As soon as I sat down with the tea the weather came on. They said that the good weather should break today with thunderstorms, and expect flooding because the Met Office predict OVER A MONTH'S WORTH OF RAIN TO FALL IN THREE HOURS.

OK so how did I manage to time it so bad that it will only take three hours for my washing to get soaked in more rain that it would normally get if I left it out for a whole month??
