Is it possible to establish buttonholes after 1) having staff mess up the initial buttonhole attempt and 2) almost a year of doing rope and ladder?

1.  You may or may not be able to re-use the same location, but should be able to start a buttonhole elsewhere on the fistula if necessary.

2.  Should not be a problem, but ask the RN who handles buttonholes at your clinic.

2. I established my buttonholes after 14 year rope/ladder.
