  In the end, you will find out he was the best President ever!!. Everything he does is for the good of our country. He is not afraid of the Russian BS, because it never happened. The man works day and night and for free for the benefit of all Americans. Eventually, the Illegals will be found out and removed. My daughter in law got he first end of January paycheck, and as promised, it is more than usual and she works for a major company. You cant deny things when they are right in front of your face. Open your eyes and stop being such die hard liberals. It doesn't suit any of you.

I can say with honesty that is not true for me. My first pay check of the year was less than my last paycheck of last year, and I had $57 taken out for a flex account last year. This year, I don't. Other then that, all regular deductions are the same. My 2nd payment included retro-pay for our union-bargained raise, so I can't use that for anything. Both paychecks I am using for reference shows me being paid 80 hours of short-term-disability, which is paid at 100% of my wage. I had my 2nd transplant on November 21st.

I am really tired of people crowing about the "tax cut".  It is all a giant Ponzi scheme that will balloon the deficit and give temporary relief while saddling future generations with untenable debt.

Then the next thing that the GOP will go for is cutting "entitlements" (as they like to call them).  Medicare and Social Security. 

Anyone who could be bought off for the few dollars per week that show in your paycheck are short-sighted at best.

I'm saving every extra dollar I get on the assumption that a) without new withholding charts I have no way of truly knowing what my tax liability is and b) I will probably need that money down the road to pay for my retirement and/or healthcare.  If I turn out to be wrong, then good for me but I highly doubt it.

During the 80s it was the massive Regan - Bush tax cuts,  they lresulted in the ressession that started in July of 1990 and resulted in the election of Bill Clinton.  From 1992 till 2000 the economy thrived.  In 2000 Bush the lesser became President again massive tax cuts which brought on what is called the Great Ressession which started  in 2007 and after much effort by the Obama administration  we began to recover after  about 6 years.  Well it appears the Republicans are taking us down the same road again,when they see tax cuts I see a major resisession in 6 years,

I would rather be looking ahead with my eyes wide open and preparing for the dark days to come, than hiding my head in the "bubble" of right wing rhetoric while celebrating the actions of the current administration. Michael Murphy has laid out the economic history that portends a massive recession, if not depression. But, hey, wish it away fervently enough and maybe it won't happen. I would love for that to be true, but I realistically don't think at this point we can avoid it.

Remember Hitler ran on the slogan make Germany great again when he ran for chancellor. After election he attacked the press, then made a portion of the population stigmatized.  Sound familiar.

Here is a perfect example of how Fox and CNN can both exhibit bias that supports their owner's political agenda, while each is being totally truthful.

Foxnews.com ran a story today about one of the little people (unimportant civilian) using his gun to save a cop being attacked.  (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/02/04/man-carrying-concealed-pistol-stops-attack-on-utah-police-officer.html).    Before I even looked, I knew there would be no coverage of this event on CNN.com.  I have seen other examples of bias on this issue, for example the level of prominence (or lack thereof) given to the fact that the civilian who apprehended those to escape GA convicts in his yard used a privately owned AR15 in the process differed vastly, and in the expected manner, between these two networks.

It's less a matter of either network lying, but of each deciding what part of the truth we will be told.

The bet way to be informed is to watch multiple networks, not just pick on that supports your political agenda and declare the others "false".
