I'm glad to be here.

« on: April 17, 2007, 06:01:49 PM »

Hi this is my first time signing onto a forum as a member. I'm on hemodialysis and have a fistula installed. Been on dialysis since November 06. In March my "thrill" was almost gone and it took a visiting dialysis Director to catch it.

As a result I had to have a balloon done and now all is fine, the thrill is back. So far I look forward to my dialysis treatments, the nurses and techs are nice to me and everyone else.

Looking forward to learning a lot about my care here.
I'm a born again Christian and Love the Lord and I'm learning to Love others on a daily basis.

Not sure what's next for me, so it's one day at a time.

Hi Duane, Welcome to ihatedialysis.com, glad to have you here with us.   Just mainly wanted to comment you for actually looking forward to your treatments,  good for you, that is not easy for alot of us to do but there are those that find it acceptable, i am glad you do.   I am glad you got your "thrill" back, i know how that is.   Well, you just feel free to look around and ask questions, post comments and concerns of your own and i am looking to hear more from you.

Nice pics.  Hubby is the one on dialysis.  Does nocturnal home hemo since Oct. 06.  Has done PD and in center for the past 10 years Never minded hemo treatments much.  Nocturnal is the best treatment that he has had.  FREEDOM!!  Done nighttime while you sleep so you have all the days to do what you want.
