Garlic? Not good?  Oh, I'm in trouble.  I add ground garlic to most EVERYTHING!

I think it's probably more the cheese and the bacon that's the problem... *G*

My favorite server at my local Tim Horton's had to be the bearer of bad news last night.. their ice cap machine is broken and out for repairs.. I had a latte instead.. it just wasn't the same... *L*

I became officially diabetic 6 months after starting dialysis.  Wife has been diabetic for almost 30 years.  My sugars are very well controlled.  Even when we eat almost the identical things and amounts, her sugars wack out climbing sometimes above 300.  And this would happen even when she was active in the school cafeteria.  Now retired and at home, sitting far too much, somewhat depressed over losing much of the sight in one eye, she isn't active much at all making her sugars even worse.  She drinks that poison diet qwap soda's but recently has started ordering the light lemonade at McDonald's.  I sorta nagged at her that stuff has sugar in it, so the other night she asked them how many carbs are in it.  I was shocked to hear there is only 50.  I ordered a big cup.  I was afraid to drink much of it as I was afraid of too much water gain for today's treatment.  I weed wacked half the day yesterday, then mowed the whole afternoon.  I came in UNDER weight today.  I'm very surprised.  I could have drank that whole cup, but didn't.  Wanna bet next time it puts me over?
