Right now there are over 106K people watching the rear-end of a giraffe, all waiting to see her baby be born. Anyone going to admit to that?   :sir ken;

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.

I have read a few articles about April, but I cannot say I have ever watched her live feed.

Someone keeps posting it on my Facebook feed.  I found it interesting its been going on for about three weeks now with no activity.  So basically people are watching the Giraffe stand around for three weeks.. The company sure got a good run for the feed.  Now there is a little ToysRUs icon on the feed so they are getting some $$.

My heart aches for animals in captivity. Animal Adventure Park says all their animals were acquired by rescue or voluntary surrender from previous owners. They can't be let go in the wild, they wouldn't survive. I think they are taking good care of Oliver and April. I find myself getting attached. There is also a web cam for an elephant sanctuary in Tennessee. I love elephants!
