So the cellulitis which I had two antibiotics for the last 10 days, turned out to be not cellulitis but  lymphedema. In 20+ yrs D, I had never heard of it, but apparently it's very common. Apparently it's like compartmentalisation (nice word) of fluid in your fistula arm. No cure, only exercises, and maybe a few places up the waiting list for vasc surgery.
The exercise consists of laying your arm on a pillow, and squeezing a squeeze ball. The same as when you're 'developing' your fistula, isn't it?
So an enormously swollen fistula arm can also be caused by that. The learning about complications will really only stop when you're dead I suppose. Sigh.

Sorry abodut your new development, Cas.  Well, at least now you have the right name for it.  I hope the exercises do what they should.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
