Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.

Happy Christmas to all and I do hope very much that Trina, Epoman's widow, has received my $60 Premium Membership contribution, which was sent by paypal on 7th December 2016 ...
... I wanted for Trina and her son to know how much the IHD-site is appreciated and to help as much as I possibly could, that the IHD-site does not become a financial burden for Trina or her son.
With kind regards to all and especially to Trina and her son from Kristina. :grouphug;

 :santahat; :christmastree; Hope everyone is enjoying Christmas.
We are snuggled in watching Christmas movies and movies of famous Bible stories. Ok, break over, time to get back to the movie.  :popcorn;

I ate waaaaay too much.  HAD TO take a nap.   Forced myself to have a slice of pie when I got up.  Maybe shouldn't, felt stuffed again.

Let's not talk about how much water I drank.   Monday morning, I'm in clinic and plugged in.  She's taking 4.5 off.  Qwap in fat.

Sad part is, I'll most likelyt make the same mistakes next weekend.

I't's a bitch driving home and hour and a half, stuffed, wanting to hibernate.  Drive fast enough and the fear will keep your eyes open.   Glad the State Patrol wasn't behind me.  Radar detectors can only do so much.

My husband spoilt me completely yesterday and today with his surprise-scrambled eggs on toast which was a welcome and wonderful taste-treat and in the afternoon I enjoyed his most wonderful Christmas-Pudding which he steamed for over 4 hours and it tasted absolutely perfect as it was mixed with a very classy touch of Brandy-Butter...
During the whole time I was snuggled on the sofa nursing a bad cold but slowly getting better... :grouphug;

AND...Happy New Year, folks!  I am looking forward to finding happiness, peace of mind, good health, many laughs and a lot less crying. And oh yes, a sense of achievement and victory!  :usaflag;

Personally I would like not to be taken to the hospital for any cardiac procedures.
