I've just had some hormone blood tests done & surprisingly, my prolactin levels are quite high. That may signify a pituitary gland disorder & so if my next test shows the same high result, I will need to have a brain MRI scan.

I've been having symptoms I guess. Menopausal type of mood swings (even though I have not reached menopause, as confirmed by results), breast sensitivity and breast pain & an intense intolerance to cold temperatures (thyroid is normal) & just general feelings of not feeling normal at times. I apparently have the same hormone levels of a nursing mother! Just don't have a baby to show for it  :rofl;

Has anyone been through this before?
