We had an absolutely awesome time, I can't believe we visited for three hours, it felt like 10 minutes.  Dennis has a great sense of humor, and Anja was like meeting a long lost sister. I don't think this lady could say a cross word about anything we shared many stories and talked about what IHD means to us.

Anja the pleasure was all mine. Thanks again.

Day 1. Wednesday 4/18 Left Appleton WI. 8:30am 38 Degrees and arrived in Dubuque IA approx 2pm. Played the slots on the river boat Casino which is permanently docked. Lost as usual. Then rode to Anamosa IA.

Day 2. Thursday Went to the National motorcycle museum around 9am and left at Noon to go meet Anja and Dennis arrived 2:15 pm and spent three hours visiting and left around 5pm. Continued south into MO, until the State Patrol kicked us out of MO for not having our helmets along. The officer was very nice and just gave us a warning then told us the quickest way to IL. Spent the night in Quincy IL.

Day 3. Friday Rode along the river on the furthest highway west in IL. Ended up at the Argosa Casino in IL near East St Louis, Did fairly well but still spent more than I made but spent nearly all afternoon and did not leave Argosa until 6:45 pm and rode east to Staunton Il and spent the night there on rte 66.

Day 4 Saturday Headed North on RTE 66 stopping in various site seeing tourist areas ended up in Pontiac IL and went to the RTE 66 Museum which was wonderful. Spent the night in Pontiac IL we ate at the Baby Bull and had a Ribeye Steak dinner. Food was good.

Day 5 Sunday 4/22 Left Pontiac IL around 8:30 am and got home at 8pm.

All in all we had a great time but very sunburned and tired.

You know I'd love to but I just couldn't afford it. Besides I have family members in Canada who'd go ballistic if they found out I'd crossed the pond and not visited them lol  :waving; :waving; :waving;
