Eight years ago Epoman started IHD after he was having trouble on DaVita's boards (censorship, heavy moderation) IHD gave him (and us) the freedom to say what we want bluntly, without censorship.  Members have battled, loved, cried and laughed over the years, and IHD has always been a free place to vent when needed.  Also, we were rebels....

Imagine my shock when I say IHD listed on Davita's website as a PATIENT RESOURCE.  EPOMAN and Susie, I hope that you are smiling down on all of this, because to me, it is a WIN for patient rights, and accessability for blunt, unedited information by patients for patients.  I can attest that IHD changed my life.

So here it is, the official DaVITA promotion of IHD.  I am still shaking my head.  WOW.

■I Hate Dialysis.com - This site is “for patients by patients.” The intro on the home page says, “Do not let the site’s name fool you, we are not about being negative, we just hate dialysis.” This online community desires to be supportive and help its members deal with the struggles of kidney disease.

Congratulations to EVERYONE who has made this website into a real community.

Thanks, Meinuk, for this wonderful news.  It is indeed a victory!

Hooray for "our" side. Epoman would indeed have a good laugh.

I agree 100% that IHD changed my life. I would have never known about dual-listing or NxStage without IHD.

We are no longer listed on the Davita site.  However one of our trusted partners RSN is listed.
