Hello everyone

I'm 73 years old and PKD finally caught up with me.
I really am an "old critter"
I've been doing PD since June.  So far, so good.
I use a Baxter cycler for overnight treatment

I just noticed - each sentence starts with "I"

Welcome to the site, OldKritter! Glad to know that PD is working out for you. Everyone here seems to agree that this is the best site. The "I's" have it!  :thumbup;

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.

They don't raise enough 'I' people any more, most are of the 'Me' type now.

'I' people get things done, take responsibility, and see that the job is done, right, the first time.

Very glad to have you around!

Have you been a lurker for very long?  As an 'I' person I would think it didn't take you very long at all to make the decision to join.

Welcome abourd OldKritter, from another gray beard, but you do still have a number of years on me, I am still a kid at 62 and started PD three years ago in May.

Take Care,
