Today I baked 24 cheese and pesto straws. They tasted great!!!
I am practising my cheese straws in readiness for my grandson Jacob's Naming Ceremony on 14th.
Am looking forward to that, have bought him a giraffe zoo adoption for a year and a very noisy shape sorter!!!

No Cassie, I make them with flour and butter (I use 6 oz flour to 2 oz butter) salt and pepper and cheese (any variety, any quantity!!! ) And a little bit of mustard.
You can either mix it up by hand or in a food processor.
Roll it out and cut into thin sticks. I have been experimenting with 8 inch long ones which are much better for munching on!
14 minutes on 180C apprx.

Due to too many people skipping appts the VA Hospital now sends letters telling me that it's time to CALL in to make an appt for whichever Dr or clinic I'm due.

Got a letter last week, tody finally remembered to call in.  Dr is booked solid til March 28.  Good thing I'm not in any hurry!

YESTERDAY, I copied a bunch of music on-line.   My tinnitus constantly ringing in my ears makes it a bit difficult to concentrate, reading, driving, etc.  I burn my own CD's of favorites which vary week to week.  I am often expanding my music library, mostlyl from youtube postings and using a web based converter from whatever video format is on youtube to mp3.   I have another converter I use to change mp3 to wav to burn into CD as the player in my truck is to old to use mp3's on a memory stick.
