Hi everyone -
My husband Alan has been on dialysis since Nov 2014 and on home haemo (NxStage) since June 2015. He is doing just great with short daily. We were accustomed to cruising often before that, and would like to do so again. Any NxStage users who are interested in cruising, please contact us. We think it would be wise to go with at least one other couple, so that if anything happens to equipment we would have backup.
Let us know where you want to go...we are open to suggestions!

Life as a Pincushion

My wife has always wanted to go to the Alaska area during the summer.

Really anywhere would be fun

We have been using NxStage since August 23 2006

We now do 8 hour treatments at night.

We are potters

Here is our website    http://jtpotteryusa.com

We ride a 1986 goldwing as much as possible

In 2015 we rode it to Hilton Head.

My son drove the grandkids his wife and the machine + ancillary supplies.  Dialyzate shipped ahead.

We rode a golf cart to the ocean and played in the water it was great.

That trip was a gift from God and cost us $400.  We had some change left over to go out and eat with.

Funding may be an issue for us seeing as I gave up my day job back in 2005 and became a potter & a full time partner.

We have been through almost every issue that the NxStage has and I'm thinking about becoming a tech on the floor except I stay so busy already.
