Hi there, my name is Tyler. i am a 19 year old male. I've been on dialysis for a year and a half now. i was diagnosed with kidney failure when my mom was 6 months pregnant with me. i had a kidney transplant when i was 2 years old. My dad gave me his kidney it lasted 15 years. now i am on hemo dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours. I'm excited to meet new people who are in the same situation i am in. because i know nobody my age who is on dialysis.

Welcome, you will find a wealth of information here and likely you can help contribute so others in your boat (young and on dialysis) can learn something from you.  I believe we have some older people who started dialysis young many moons ago.

Just wondering with home dialysis are you cannulating yourself?

Prom?

There's a PROM?

I missed that invitation.   Qwap!  That's what I get for not checking in soon enough.

Maybe this year.   Hope,  Hope,  Hope.
