Hi I'm New to this site and look forward to learning a lot about my brother's disease and upcoming dialysis treatment, as well as talking with people here.  Thank you for making this site available to patients and families.
I am a 59 year old man from Long Island, NY, a retired state worker.  My brother lives in Virginia and has kidney failure, had a port placed in his arm and it is in the process of maturing. I have been staying by him for a few weeks, but I will go home soon.  He lives with his daughter who has been taking him to doctors etc.
Anyway it's good to be here. Howdy!  :-)

Hi, Johnny 28.

You are a good brother.  Keep is in touch.  We really like to know how everyone is doing.

There are members where who have been through nearly everything,

and if one hasn't the other member has.  So lots of information and knowledge here.

Welcome to the group!!   I myself have just joined recently.  They seem like a strange bunch here but in a good way.  Know what I mean?  ;D  Glad that you're interested in knowing a bit about your brothers path.  Please encourage him and his daughter to join as the knowledge and friendship to be gained here could help their process go smoother.  Lets GO IHD!!   :bandance; :bandance;  HOOT!!
