Eat :popcorn; Drink :wine; and.... Be Merry! :bandance;

Going to have a quiet dinner for two, take a nap and then prime a new PAK and later start a new batch for my husband's first treatment at home since his horrible fiasco a month ago.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.

It will be a little sober around my family this Thanksgiving ....... my oldest sister lost her oldest son suddenly two weeks ago. The family dinner is always at her house and she insists on still having it. It will be a tough day but hopefully we can pull her into the "fond memories" section of grief.

I hope for a  blessed Thanksgiving to you all.

Good Luck Vt Big Rig.

I can only try to imagine your Sisters grief.  We like to think that we were never meant to bury our Children, yet it happens all to often.  I don't doubt that she is devastated.  Give her a hug and a strong shoulder.  Mere words cannot express the true depth of sympathy.

Take Care,

Sorry to hear about your families loss. Hope you can somehow find a way to enjoy the "good" part about the holiday; family and food.
