Hi chad954, I have been on dialysis for 3 years and use a Fresenius 4008 B machine in my home, these seem to be the only machines that are available here in New Zealand and guess they are fairly old but does the job that is required. I am on dialysis for 4 hours twice a week and that keeps me going fine. Still play table tennis twice a week as well and keep my garden going so being 75 feel I am doing OK. After reading some of the problems that people have feel quite lucky to be in this position. Would be good to hear from you with some details of the NxStage machine that you use, have never even seen a photo of one, could look them up on the web I suppose. I am typing this while on dialysis and reading all the latest posts, a lot of information on this site, about to have tea, so will close.

Greg.

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband,  He is 4p and started PD October 2013. We have several living donors waiting to be tested for a transplant. Dialysis is a bridge to get us where we need to go.
He had a transplant in November 2019.
