Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: September 22, 2014, 01:57:11 PM »

My 2 nephews were 9 and 16 when I was in a small plane crash in 1986.  Now 40 something they wanted to hike up to Harrison Lake in Northern Idaho to where it was.  So, I arranged it and 14 of us went.  It was a gorgeous day out.  I struggled but I made it 2.3 miles straight up and 2.3 miles straight down.  I had to have help.  Everyone else did just great.  My 65 year old sister down to my 7 year old great-Nephew.  Everyone had fun.  I'm hurting today.....

Hello Rerun,
if my memory serves me right, you went into ESRF shortly after that plane crash...?
... It was very brave of you to re-visit the place and I am glad that it went alright...
Best wishes from Kristina.

You sound as if there was no damage to your psyche and I hope that is the case. Sounds like you had a great time.
