If you peddle or spin while on dialysis (like ride a bike only you are in the chair) what is the best brand to get? The one we have no one likes.
Rerun, I used to cycle during dialysis, pretty close to three hours. This was at Satellite centers in the SF and Monterey Bay Areas. I asked my current Fresenius center near Austin if they would get a cycle for me to use, and they dragged some sorry excuse for a cycle out of storage. I told them, before hand, what type of cycle works best with a dialysis chair, but the didn't listen. I even offered to buy and donate an appropriate cycle to the center. But they wanted me to use the ancient piece of crap they had. I did a couple of times to show them why what they had wouldn't work, and ended up blowing my knee out on the damned thing.
What scares me is the companies attaching a generator and expecting us to power the dialysis machine. Added to talkers list of admonitions would be pedal faster your clearance is too low. I am attached to the system for too bloody long as it is. If I cane sleep for two hours it cuts my 4 hour season in half.
