Did you know that there is an ESRD Network Coordinating Center that works with patients and providers?

The End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network Coordinating Center (NCC) provides support and coordination at the national level for the Medicare ESRD Network Program, under contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS.)

The NCC supports improvement in the three core goals of the ESRD Network Program:
•Better care for the individual through beneficiary and family centered care
•Better health for the ESRD population
•Reduce costs of ESRD care by improving care

You can find them via their website, or follow them on Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/esrd.ncc

http://www.esrdncc.org/

In addition to the NCC, there are 18 Networks that cover the United States and Territories.  These are good, free resources for people to learn about.

Have you had any interaction with YOUR Network?  Are you a PAC Member or an SME? If so, share your experience, and think about encouraging others to work with their Networks.  Having a voice is the best way to be an advocate.

Thanks for providing those links. I just may have to contact them, hopefully not but I'm saving them nonetheless for just in case or if I have questions. I hope others save these links as well.

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
