We lose friends due to this damn kidney disease, it happens often, but this hits especially hard. Our friend "twirl" is gone. Sending love and condolences to her husband and kids, she loved them all so much. RIP twirl I will miss you terribly.

This was from her son on facebook yesterday: She had surgery to have her kidneys removed. 18 hours after the surgery, her blood pressure fell to zero, she experienced cardiac arrest, and parts of her intestine died. It is unclear why this happened or which of these happened first. After a 2nd surgery her body has been stabilized but brain swelling caused by the cardiac arrest makes it unclear if she will ever be able to make a recovery.

Here's a link to her early posts. She was funny from day one. http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=7420.msg108705#msg108705

May her soul rest in peace.
Twirl loved her son and loved to see him play sports.
She loved sharks.
I had a ball with her when she was on IHD.  She was a very funny lady.
She liked everyone.
I have missed her wit here.
I will miss her.

God bless her.  God bless her family as they move through this sorrowful time.

When I started my IHD journey I never realized how a group of complete strangers could become a family. So many of ou are strangers no more. Twirl you will be truly missed.

I remember Twirl from the days when I was "lurking" as a guest on IHD before joining and I admired her wonderful sense of humour.

She will be missed. R.I.P Twirl.

Best wishes to her family from Kristina.

Sad to learn that we have lost another member, Twirl.  May she Rest in Eternal Peace and be One with Our Lord, or whichever Religion she has beliefs.

Another kindred soul taken too early from this mortal earth by side effects of this insidious disease that we all deal with daily.

I will miss reading her posts.  I am sure that I won't be the only one.

Twirl stopped posting on IHD some time back and I missed her enormously. She was one of my first friends here and I always looked forward to her posts. My heart goes out to all her family who I'm sure are really struggling right now. RIP Twirl.

This one is rough. She never had an unkind word for anyone, and she brought so many smiles to this forum. Everything I'd like to say is coming out wrong, so I'll just wish for peace for her family that she so clearly adored.
