Darth, hope you are getting along okay. Been a year since my own mother passed and I still cry. Thought of you and your mother today. Hope your own pain is easing but if not yet, I can understand. Some days I can think and talk about her without crying, other days no. I especially miss her when I want to talk crap about nothing over a cup of coffee or want to share news or some inane piece of information that I know only she would understand as being "important" or "exciting" or, when I am really, really ticked off about something and need to blow my stack. She was always on my side. She was my best friend and I gather you had a similar relationship with your mother. I don't think "best friends" like them can be replaced. My husband can be a good listener but it is often the cat that lifts my spirits and seems to be more understanding of my tears. Silly cat. Knows how to butter me up for more food. But it's a good tradeoff for us both. Anyways,you don't need to reply, I just wanted to say...ha ha, after this long post...hope you and Dougal have good exchanges and sharing some laughs and good cheer. Our furry family members are the best!   :beer1;
