Sluff's son passed away recently.

Thank you for the cards and money gifts and the flowers. The money will be put into an account specifically for the kids and their future. Thanks again we really appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness.

So sorry Sluff for your loss. My first born son died when he was 14. It was horrible and I know it was for you too. Again, so sorry.

Cared for my late mum, Elsie who had Kidney Failure... Darling mum died on July 15th 2014... May her gentle soul rest in peace....

What devastating news.  I am so, so sorry to hear this.

(I was in Appleton, WI just last summer and saw many, many motorcyclists as they were gathering in the area for their annual partying.  I bet your son was somewhere amongst them!)

I talked to Sluff.  He is doing as well as anyone could be doing with such a devastating loss.  Josh left behind a 2 1/2 year old son.  A fund is being set up for his future.  If anyone would like to contribute PM me and I'll get you an address.

Pyelonephritis (began at 8 mos old)
Home haemo 1980-1985 (self-cannulated with 15 gauge sharps)
Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges
