Positive Thoughts equal Positive Energy

« on: May 19, 2014, 01:12:32 PM »

Okay, my nurse approved that I do 400 blood flow speed.  I’ve tried it at 500 per my doctor’s orders but when I got off the machine after 4 hours and 22 minutes I was feeling dizzy and light headed.  I called my nurse.  She said it makes sense to do the blood speed at 400 because I’ve added more hours.  However, my Kt/v is 2.17 as of now.  My nurse said it’s good as long as I’m over 2.0.

I just want to thank the people on IHD for their research and sharing the information with everyone.  I feel a little better since I am able to do one day on and one day off.  Let keep sharing what we learned so we can have all dialysis patients close to as healthly as a normal person.

Love you guys.  :grouphug;

Dailysis patient for since 1999 and still kicking it strong.  I was called for a transplant but could not get it due to damage veins from extremely high blood pressure.  Have it under control now, on NxStage System but will receive dailysis for the rest of my life.  Does life sucks because of this.  ABOLUTELY NOT!  Life is what you make it good, bad, sick, or healthy.  Praise God I'm still functioning as a normal person just have to take extra steps.

My nurse checked my numbers and she said my new batch of boxes were not infected.  However, I know for sure my last batch of boxes were because I had the numbers.  Hope everyone is okay and DaVita be more on board when it comes to their patients.
