I received my letter of confirmation in the mail today that I am officially on the wait list at U. of Wisconsin at Madison.  List date is April 22.  I am on hold until mid-June because of the vaccinations, but I am already accruing time.

Great! As long as you're getting your time that's good. Hardly anyone gets a transplant in the first few months anyway.

Feb 4th 2014 - Kidney and bone marrow tx (both from my mother) as part of a clinical trial at Hopkins

Congratulations! Your evaluation went very fast. It took at least a couple of months before I was initially listed. Your center seems much faster than mine. Now the hard part begins - waiting!

1994: Diagnosed with FSGS
September 2011: On transplant list with 15 - 20% function
September 2013: ~7% function. Started PD dialysis
February 11, 2014: Transplant from deceased donor. Creatinine 0.57 on 2/13/2014

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

1983 high proteinloss in urine, chemo, stroke,coma, dialysis
1984 double nephrectomy
1985 transplant from dad
1998 lost dads kidney, start PD
2003 peritineum burst, back to hemo
2012 start Nxstage home hemo
2020 start Gambro AK96

       still on waitinglist, still ok I think
