Has anyone else had issues especially lately with getting their orders from Sterling Medical? They've always been poor, but lately they've gone from bad to worse. In the last year I've had 100% of my orders wrong and now the problem has gotten worse by not being able to reach them. Everyone in my area has been having issues and until today I was the only one with a civil tongue. My nurse even called Monday and couldn't believe how rudely she was treated. She couldn't get a straight answer and the person she spoke with made it clear she just didn't care.
I've been trying to call for over two weeks and either I get disconnected or I give up after being on hold over a half hour. Today I stuck it out and was on hold 50 minutes. I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there were no supervisors or managers in today. I was told to leave a message and they would get back to me. I was on their online chat two weeks ago and was told I would get a return phone call which never happened. My nurse hasn't gotten a return phone call from Monday either. At this point the gloves came off and I almost politely insisted I speak to someone. This time I was only on hold another thirty minutes.
I did get to a manager from a different department and learned a lot about their operation and it wasn't pretty. I now have a direct line to this manager and would like to report back issues that others are having so he can see the extent of the problem. When I got off the phone with him he was going to call my nurse so she could relay her and other patients problems to him.
Let me know if you are having problems with Sterling and we'all see what he can do for us.
