10 years on and off dialysis

Anyone else read this in today's paper...
In 1991 Roger Batista demande his donated kidney back from his wife Dawnella after she divorced him!
What a jerk  :rofl; and he was a doctor!
Judge ruled a donated kidney could not be classed as "marital property".

10 years of half a life
3 years HD 1st transplant Feb 08 failed after 3 months
Back to HD 2nd transplant Dec 10 failed after 11 months
Difficult times with a femoral line and catching MSSA (Thank you Plymouth Hospital)
Back on HD (not easy to do that third time around)
Fighting hard (two years on) to do home HD ... watch this space!
Oh and I am am getting married 1/08/15 to my wonderful partner Drew!!!

Back in 1987 there were no transplants except "living related".  My now ex would have wanted his back at divorce but they wouldn't let him donate in the first place back then.  Someone knew!

I had seen the story. He was obviously trying to be as much of an a** as possible. He succeeded. I hope his next girlfriend googles him.
