I go in next week for a repair of the Hernia surgery I had 9-12.  It is bulging again.  Last time I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and had Hemo dialysis until I healed.  I told the surgeon about the stay and he call my Neph and this time I don't do my pm pd the night of surgery, I ger out of the hospital the next day and don't do the pd that night.  I start my treatments the following night.  I still urinate well. and the surgeon said I may have some fluid restrictions during that time.  I'm so happy I won't have to do Hemo

It sounds like it should be a much better experience this time. I hope it all goes smoothly. Is the difference due to the degree of the repair or just a different surgeon, or ???

The same surgeon, BUT the first time it was the Neph that decided that I needed to be in the hospital the 3 weeks until I healed.  This time the surgeon talked to the Neph and explained the 3 week stay was not needed.  I just step the PD for 2 days.  The surgeon is putting in a larger patch this time.  I wonder if I will get a 5 year or 50,000 mile warranty this time   :bow;

I'm home after 2 nights in the hospital.  And I drove to pick up my little dog, Dusty, after getting home.  He was happy to get home.  My friend who was taking care of him has 5 small dogs and here he's the only furbaby in this house.
