 :waving;  I am new to your forum.  I am a renal social worker for two units in the Nashville area.  I have been a renal social worker for 6 years now.  I am interested in looking over the comments from patients to find out I can be a better social worker.  I look forward to learning from the forum.

Welcome to ihatedialysis.com Renalsw,

Thanks for taking an interest in patient care. We have a few nurses and even a doctor who are members here.

I hope you enjoy your stay, there is a lot of reading to do. Please feel free to post often and ask questions if needed.

Welcome to our community.  The founder of this website has opened it up to embrace all who are connected to the renal challenge in any way, and we have become a family.  We are particularly pleased when those who are charged with the care of dialysis patients take the time out to see things from the patients' perspective.  I am looking forward to hearing very much from you on our website.  This is a particularly difficult time for us, as the founder died just last week.  But in honour of him, we mean to keep this site going just as he would meant it.
I hope you don't have too thin a skin, because sometimes we renal patients need to rant and vent, and sometimes....... (you fill in the blank!)
Here is a group hug to welcome you among us. :grouphug;

Welcome to the site.  Come on in and get a patient's perspective on the world of dialysis. Several patients' perspectives as a matter of fact.
