I am so sorry that I have been out of touch! My computer monitor went out and I had a hard time finding just the monitor!
I am back now and will have to read back a bit to find out what's going on!
Please forgive me! I haven't been ignoring anybody!

Thanks Secret Santa (Carolyn).  I love the socks - they will keep my feet nice and toasty warm this winter!!  I love the butterfly necklace and all the other stuff too!!  Thanks!!

Hubby hasn't received his gift as of yet (may have had to come from far away)  I know a couple of years I mailed gifts to NZ and Ireland before the cut off date for getting there before Christmas and it was late Jan /early Feb when it got there.  No big deal - it will be something to brighten up the new year!!

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Thank you SS ( Carolyns Mum, Elsie ) I don't know when I have enjoyed a package as much as this one. The cross is gorgeous and I have been bragging to all my friends about my "Ireland Cross". Love the scarf and all the other goodies too. Again, thank you so much.!!

Hi Del, and Jean....

Glad you enjoyed them!... Check out Mrs. Brown's Boys on YouTube... Mrs Brown is played by Dublin Comedian, Brendan O'Carroll... 'She' is a typical working class Dublin Mammy... It's quite rude, but VERY funny!...

Now, our gifts.... Mum's SS was Walt, Del's hubby... Del obviously did the shopping, though... She got one of Del's fab fruitcakes... It's been attacked with a fork already!... Folks, if you want a REALLY nice cake, talk nicely to Del... You won't do better... She also got a lovely light scarf, lemon in colour, a really pretty multistrand necklace with blue stones, a packet of Butter Toffees, a packet of Peppermint Nobs (Won't be sharing  either of them...Made in a factory that uses nuts and peanut butter!)... Mum claims to be heartbroken that I can't eat them... Yeah, right... I believe you Mum... Thousands wouldn't!... Very pretty bracelet with multi-coloured stones, a Christmas Angel brooch, a moose pin, a lobster keyring,  a FAB Christmas Tree ornament of a silver swan,  a candy cane full of Jelly Beans (you should see the grin on Mum's face!), A Newfoundland shopping bag, and I kid you not Folks, TWO squeaky toys for the smutt!... Grrrr!!!!!.... The racket in this house!....... I'll be committing murder, soon!...

My SS was Victor, KitKatz's hubby.... I got a grey Tee Shirt that says 'Hooligan' on it... Who???... Me???... *Says she while giving her halo a little polish*... Also got a Star Wars/Darthvadar small back pack (perfect as a lunch pack!), a Star Wars pencil case,  two Star Wars/Darthvadar jigsaw Puzzles, and a great reindeer... He poops out little sweets!... Thanks Victor... A great gift!....

And of course, Kitz being Kitz, despite not being my SS sent me a lovely box of goodies, too.... I got a great wall sign... It says 'I'm wearing my Big Girl Panties, and they're starting to bunch'... You HAVE been warned, Folks!... LOL!..., also got a lovely little glass elephant to wear on a chain, a timber elephant, a shot glass from San Diego Zoo with lots of animal ornaments inc. an elephant attatched, a Star Wars/Darth Vadar Christmas Tree ornament, a very pretty pendant and chain, and a toy for the smutt... Not one squeak in the flipping thing, but two!... He's driving me to distraction!... Where's the paracetamol... I'm going to kill Kitz!....

Thanks everyone.... We had great fun with this, as always!....

Love to all....

Darth....

My secret pal was great, however who is it?
I cannot read the signature in the card.  I must be stupid.

The gifts are superb.  I love the light house necklace and the box within the box was great. My favorite chocolates, Lindt dark chocolates- 2 packages.

I feel the Christmas spirit.

Ooooh! Poppylicious!

THANK YOU!!!!!! What fun the gifts are! And the wrapping was even a gift!

The kiddoes at school enjoyed the magazines and I then brought them to the grands in Massachusetts, who enjoyed them all over again. The chocolate is divine. I'm portioning it out to make it last and NOT SHARING!!!!!

I love the Xenophobe's Guide. There is a line in it that seems like quintessential English: "The emphasis on table etiquette alone is a mystery in a country of people who are more than a little challenged in matters culinary." I love it!

 :rofl;

The grands are enamoured of the plasters, and little Winter thinks the teaspoons are the cat's meow! (sipping tea as I write this!)

I need to wire some kind of headdress for the mistletoe plaque. Surely I could garner more kisses that way!!!  :2thumbsup;

All the bits and bobs are delightful, as are you!

Hi Riki, LOL   that's okay!        :cuddle;        I'm enjoying the little snowflake ornament too with Anne of Green Gables!         :)
I had wondered if the ornaments and the towel had been hand knit, they are so pretty, thank you!         :cuddle;

I've been a fan of Anne of Green Gables since I was a kid,  I loved the series, I had the books too!           ;D     I wouldn't be able to count the number of times I've watched the first movie        ;D

Thank you for all the lovely gifts, I am enjoying them so much!          :thx;            :cuddle;

I've always wanted to go there. My Mom went many years ago and loved it when she went!    I was so jealous when she went, I wanted her to pack me in her suitcase      :rofl;

Ooooh! Poppylicious!

THANK YOU!!!!!!

My pleasure!  I read the whole of that book on the bus home after I bought it for you (I hope you couldn't tell I had my grubby mitts all over it!) and it made me giggle quite a bit.

And Poppy.. thank you very much for the very cute scarf and the bear keychain... unfortunately, somewhere in his journey, the little bear had lost his arm, but Mom was able to reattach it for him...

Yikes!  Poor bear! But very clever mum!

 ;D

I was blessed with gorgeous smelling soap (made from goats milk no less), a lovely (pink!) horseshoe necklace (which I will definitely wear every time I need a bit of good luck  ... so most days *grin*) and some 'steak rub' which will get used up VERY quickly in this house!

I also had the cutest handmade card (was it your daughter, Sydnee? - please say 'thank you' from me; it's so sweet!) which made me smile lots and is now proudly on display in my hall.

Thank you Sydnee!!

Yes it was  my youngest daughter that made your card. Did you get the ornament together?
Glad you liked the gifts.
