Oh, Brenda.      :grouphug;

My heart breaks for you, too.  It must feel like the end of the world.  Laurie is at peace now.

My thoughts are with you and your children.

I'm so sorry, Brenda.   :cuddle;
Laurie's been through a lot, and so have you.  At least now he's not suffering. You were a wonderful caregiver, by the way...

I am so very sorry, Brenda.  I lost my husband a few months ago.  He had a rare form of cancer, but cause of death was Septic Shock. Some little infection found an opportune spot and just took over his body.  I know the pain, the emptiness you are feeling. People tell me it will get better, but I still cry everyday. It is the little things that make it so hard.  Take lots of time to grieve. It is ok to be sad.  PM me if I can help in any way.  I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Dailysis patient for since 1999 and still kicking it strong.  I was called for a transplant but could not get it due to damage veins from extremely high blood pressure.  Have it under control now, on NxStage System but will receive dailysis for the rest of my life.  Does life sucks because of this.  ABOLUTELY NOT!  Life is what you make it good, bad, sick, or healthy.  Praise God I'm still functioning as a normal person just have to take extra steps.
