It is touching to read about all of the lives that my husband touched and continues to touch.  He brought so many terrific people together through this site; I am honored to keep it going.

And I thank you for doing so Epowife.  I never "met" Bill but I certainly appreciate him and am delighted that people continue to get to know him through IHD.

As of today it's been 2 years since we lost Epoman. He created this wonderful site that has been a real gift to all who come here.

Thank you Bill, you will never be forgotten.

Just yesterday I was reading some old posts and found myself laughing at what Epoman was writing... and, of course, Susie's retorts. Gone (not really) but not forgotten (absolutely not!)
Living on through this site. Making people laugh, and cry, and helping, but most of all giving us this oasis in all the madness.

Thank you Epoman and RIP and thank you administrator who keep his dream alive.

Epoman, your site has thrived even though you have been gone for 2 years.  That was your promise to us.  You made provisions from the very creation of this site that it would be here for others in need forever.  Thank you!

My tribute to Bill...

Today I had an appointment in Halifax to see my kidney doc, he is telling me that I am the "perfect" candidate for nocturnal dialysis... I was uneasy about it all and asked him if there was a video , or someone that is doing this that I could talk to...

HE TOLD ME THAT MY "BEST BET" would be a website called...... I Hate Dialysis . com!!!!   He told me that it was patient based and that I would get how people honestly feel about it...

So here we are 2009 in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada , the nurses are spreading the news about Bills little ole website...

Thank You Bill, I owe you one  :beer1;

I always talk about this site when I visit my mom in-center. Once in the hospital dialysis center I told the nurse and she literally went right to the computer to look it up! She was so excited to hear all the good things I was telling her.

Thank you Epoman and all of you that keep this site going strong.  :)

Like Goofynina, Epoman just had his own way of looking at things but he was very in tune with knowledge of ESRD. Some people may not have seen eye to eye with him but he was usually right in the end. He is definitely missed especially when handling debates in the forum. His vision remains strong. A genius is a good way to describe him.

I never had the chance to "get to know" Epoman, but from what I have been reading today, he was much-loved and will be sorely missed.

I am sorry I never got to know him.  God Bless him and his family.

I'm glad I was a member when Bill was still here.  He had a great no-nonsense attitude and if you didn't want to play by the rules, go somewhere else.   Respected him so much.   He left the site in great hands.   Thanks to Sluff and Okarol who keep the dream alive.    :cuddle;

Wow.  I am a new member but Epoman's Introduction was the first thing I read.  I saw such strength in him to keep going to be a good father and husband.  I was so sad when I found this post.  God bless his soul and bless and protect his family.

Thanks Clara. Yes, it was a huge loss to us all but Epoman's words and design of this forum live on. His wife and son are doing well. We see them at the IHD Las Vegas meet up each year.
