10 years on and off dialysis

Interested to know how good dialysis is  over there?

10 years of half a life
3 years HD 1st transplant Feb 08 failed after 3 months
Back to HD 2nd transplant Dec 10 failed after 11 months
Difficult times with a femoral line and catching MSSA (Thank you Plymouth Hospital)
Back on HD (not easy to do that third time around)
Fighting hard (two years on) to do home HD ... watch this space!
Oh and I am am getting married 1/08/15 to my wonderful partner Drew!!!

Don't have any personal experience with dialysis in Croatia.  However, having Serbian in-laws, I can tell you that sticking to the renal diet is probably gonna be a tough one if you visit.  Cheese is a big part of the diet and they don't know how to be light with the salt shaker. 

Where are you thinking of going, just out of sheer curiosity?   ;D

Apparently dialysis centre that does holiday patients (newly opened) at Medulin, on the coast. I have been to Umag before (In the old Yugoslavia days) and flights from Stansted, England and hotel accomodation very cheap. I really enjoyed staying there before.
Cheese, well I love cheese but salt might be a problem!!!  ;D ;D ;D
