boswife, I also saw it and freaked out. When the mother came back she looked quit shocked, could not see her babies in the nest because they were all fast a sleep on the parapit thing. Had a laugh because they all jumped back up when food came. She has started to just throw the pigeons in the nest and leave them too it. This is going to be a night mare for her now because they have started to jump in and out. Last year only one chick survived and it was so funny. The parrapit thing goes all the way around the building so a good stretch and when he went walk about he got in to all sorts of trouble. He got stuck in pipping, he was jumping on and off the ledge, you had to hold your breath. The camera will usually follow them around now. I love watching them.

There's only one left!!!!!!
I checked on them about an hour ago and thought I could see the three of them. Now there is only the one.
How long is the guttering behind the camera?
Don't panic - at least one other has returned - from the guttering I presume. Aren't they feathering up at very different rates.

My heart was in my mouth when I saw them this morning. They were sitting as bold as brass on the parapit. . I hope they dont play a game of push me push me. This afternoon I can only see one under all the wiring. Where are the other two?

that is such a great shot! I caught them yesterday too doing their flight practice. One of them sure likes to sit on the edge and surly going to take off soon. It's alone a lot. And then, i laughted at the two (i think the sisters) others running up and down flapping wings. One just ran w/wings straight down, and the other waited for her to get back to the nest area, and took off with her jumping flight stuff. So beautiful.. i wish the cameras could always show them. ohh, yesterday, they had two white birds.. kinda creepy as our neighbor has white doves that the hawks pick off at times so when i see white, i see pets.. The cameras were all over the place for a while. I wish they would film all day and we could always see what they were doing...

Its 17-30 here and I have seen 2 of them, they are waiting to be fed. The blog says that Ernest has taken flight and has not returned to day, I saw two this morning at breakfast, they had 2 pigeons and a rat. I thought one of the ladies was going to go, she has been flapping like mad.The other lady looked on as much to say "what are you messing about at" quite funny.

Thanks so much..! I was watching today and the 'sisters?' were down at the far ledge and another flew in almost on top of them. I squeeled because i really think it was bro... then shortly after, another (parent?) came flying in with some food. If they had been closer i could have been sure, but im so glad that he has been sighted. thanks.. And.......... the latest i see in the 'blog' was their names. where do i look for more current update???

hummmm,,, and
the two still hare are so attached.. Watching them, i sure hope that the more advanced one will wait a couple days for her sis to catch up. Im afraid that if one goes, the other will try to follow by the way they act on the ledge.. where one goes the other follows. only, one seems to flap and fly and the other seems to just run ... so cute though.

Henry, I am so pleased you have enjoyed them, I will have to start cleaning the house now. I feel like I have been watching for hours. I will really miss them. If we are both around next year I will let you know when they start again. That sounds aweful dos'nt it.
