I just finished watching them.  I have not seen any of the movies nominated, so no opinions to give on them.  Martin Scorscis (sp) finally won his Oscar!

I heard the ratings were down and the show was too long.  I read about it the next day on Drudge.  Not watching gives me more time to do what I really want to do on a Sunday night.  I saw a short clip, it was nice to see Al Gore happy for once.  :thumbup;

I think Ellen did an AWESOME job hosting  :2thumbsup;  The only thing wrong with the whole show was they didnt show enough ELLEN...  I watch it every year and i think it was one of the best ones yet  :clap;

they didnt show enough ELLEN... 

I agree,  She's great!  I was also pleased to see that the awards went to a variety of films, not just one hoggin' them all  :)

The purple suit Ellen had on at the beginning of the show gave me 70s/80s flashbacks.  It was damn ugly!
