Hey everyone,
"Penguin" here! I haven't been on here forever
because I've been busy writing a book (actually a series of ten or twelve short books) about this mess of a disease!
Today is my 2 and a half year kidney transplant anniversary
but I can't help but feel the need to advocate for everyone affected by kidney disease... pre-dialysis, dialysis, transplant, and so on. Too few people understand it, and I want to help change that!
I was diagnosed with FSGS over five years ago as a sixteen-year-old in high school... ever since, I've felt like I'm on a never-ending adventure! Based on my story (although changed up quite a bit and infused with a lot of 'imagination'- you'll see what I mean if you read it), it's targeted toward teenagers and young adults, but I'm hoping it helps others, too.
The link to it is

Hoping to help punch
the stigma and misunderstanding of CKF out of the world!
Hannah
