And to think that some of us were in his company in Las Vegas less than a year ago...

I am so very sorry.  Words fail me.

So sorry for the entire family's loss....

May Barry's gentle sould rest in peace....

Darth...

God looked around His garden And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb,

So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine".

This is from Paris's Facebook:

"Yesterday, pain ended for my sweet husband and the pain began for our family. No one could write a better exit than what we experienced. All 4 kids, 2 dear friends, daughter in laws, David and Hatem, and Rev. Allen surrounded Barry, holding hands as Rev. Allen prayed lovely words about Barry and his homecoming. I layed my hand on Barry's chest most of the last 5 days and when his breathing was very slow, I tapped my fingers on his chest, waiting for each next breath. About half way through the prayer, I didn't feel his breathe, so I tapped gently waiting for the gasp. At the end of the prayer, the nurse stepped in and said he is gone. I knew already. But how many of us will take our last breathe while being prayed into Heaven? No more suffering. This has been a very fast journey and we were just beginning to comprehend how sick he was. He and I have been on a wonderful trip through life ---- 45 years and 1 month of marriage. It was a good life, a happy life. Memorial service will be Friday - more details will follow. I don't know how to do this; I'm getting through hour by hour. Thank goodness for my kids and grandkids, although, they are all devistated, too. The Lord is my shepard, I shall not want......."
