I hate dialysis  those needles :oops;  I have lived a long time , I'm 62  , I'm about to  stop. The only reason I'm on treatment is I promised my daught-in-law to get on and live til my grandson would remember me. . I go 3 times a week for 4 hrs. I have to tak meds to keep me in the chair that long

Welcome to the site Kikicol. I hope your grandson will give you reason to stay with us for long enough for him to see him pass his driving license at least.

Quitting because you don't like needles seems a bit hasty.  Try hanging around for grandson's graduation, wedding, first child, second child, etc.   Grumpy

Don't know of anybody doing Hemo dialysis likes the needles.  I know of some who have a phobia of them, but they hang with it.  Not judging you, just saying!  It is your choice and of course, we will support what ever decision you make.

Can you not do PD?  It doesnt require needles, except for when they need lab work done.  You might look in to that for an option.  It is actuallly a great modality!

God Bless,
