Greetings,
I am +attitude. I am 47 yrs. old  I live in the San Francisco bay area, I am on in center hemo dialysis. I have been on dialysis for 14 months this time. I will tell the whole story in my profile. Thanks for having me over!

2002-December, diagnosed ESRD, obstructive uropathy caused by reoccurring urethral stricture
2004-April CCPD, (Peritonitis at least 3 times in 3.5 years)
2007- June,13, Transplant Ft. Worth, TX. (Non-living donor)
2011-April, Urinary tract infection, back on dialysis
If I had as many tubes sticking out of me as I have had stuck in me I would look like a PORCUPINE

IHD is filled with lots of information and great support. If you got a question just ask and they will be a answer for you!!

2010 kidneys at 35% (left 2x size)

Welcome..  Any chance you could do home haemo. I do NxStage and I feel great.

Welcome aboard Attitude!  You have found and excellent site with great people!  You really should check into Hemo at home.  We use the NxStage machine and it has been awesome for my husband.  Im happy, because I can put him on when I feel like it.  I make it work for me, not the other way around.  This little "kick butt" machine is very easy to move around and pack up and take on trips. Just take some hanging bags and connect to electricity and BAM, your'e good!!!

We just love the home experience!
