 :birthday;

I was 30 end of march and i still feel in my 20s :) It helps that i look young, i went for a prescription yesterday and the chemist asked if it was for my sister, then kept questioning me are u sure your 30?! how do u look so young? i thought u were 19 haha!! I told him im having a kidney transplant in 2 weeks and he nearly fell over in shock lol. its happens a lot i have good genes  :yahoo; i got told in the library i looked to young to a have a baby then pointed out my 4 yr old was round the corner. Most embarassing was a party last month when a friend of my hubbys parents asked my sister in law if i was one of her children...she is 5 mths younger than me  :rofl; the someone said to my hubby they thought i was Elena's (my daughters) mum, but then realised i was only about 18 so couldnt be, hubby felt really awkward explaining that i was his wife, Elenas mother and was in fact 30 :2thumbsup; hehehe!!!

Age is only a number!!! Anyway ive gone on now always do!! Have a fab day, how are u celebrating the big 4-0?? Party?! I wanted one for my 30th but we couldnt arrange it with transplant op looming so had 2  nights away with hubby while my parents had the kid :) Hope u get some nice pressies, anything u want?!x

Many happy returns of the day, Cordelia.  For my  fortieth birthday, someone sent me a button that read, "THIS IS WHAT FORTY LOOKS LIKE!". Everywhere I went that day, people expressed astonishment that I could be forty!  I wish the same for you.

Chris, for some bizarre reason I always think of you as being about twenty, even though I know you're not.  That is a compliment, btw!

You all are super sweet, thanks for your birthday wishes!!!!           :beer1;         :grouphug;

I'm giggling at some of your posts here! LOL LMAO!         :rofl;       :rofl;

My husband threw a surprise birthday party for me over the weekend, so that was pretty special.  The last surprise party I had was when I turned 25. LOL

He was so sweet to do that for me. All my friends from the kidney support group that I go to once a month, were there and it was just awesome to see them there, I had a wonderful time. Yesterday my hubby took me out to dinner to my most fav restaurant, so that was really cool!       :bandance;
